56 na safe shelters, ipinagkaloob sa dalawang ospital sa Eastern Visayas

Aabot sa 56 na “safe shelters” para sa mga medical frontliners ang nai-turn over sa dalawang ospital sa Eastern Visayas.

Ang nasabing proyekto ay nabuo sa pakikipagtulungan nila TINGOG Party-list Representative Yedda Marie Romualdez, House Majority Leader at Leyte Rep. Martin Romualdez at ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

Ang 56 na air-conditioned rooms ay gawa mula sa mga shipping containers na binuong temporary mobile facilities para sa mga health care frontliners.


Ang 40 shelters ay ibinigay para sa mga medical frontliners ng Eastern Visayas Regional Medical Center (EVRMC) sa Tacloban City habang ang 16 rooms naman ay sa Schistosomiasis Hospital sa Palo, Leyte.

Nagpasalamat naman ang mag-asawang mambabatas kay DPWH Secretary Mark Villar sa pagprayoridad sa special needs ng mga medical frontliners na lumalaban din sa Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
