CENECO SETS POWER INTERRUPTION ON SEPTEMBER 9

Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that, maintenance activities will be conducted on September 9, Sunday. This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of this outage are as follow:

Date: September 9, 2018 – Sunday


Reasons:

• Conversion of C1-1 to C15, C1 to C14 and C8 to C15 primary assemblies to avoid electrical hazard to the ongoing construction and encroachment in a private property along Manville Royale; and

• Midspan erection of one 45-ft. steel pole, C14 assembly and installation of three 25kVa private distribution transformers and accessories and stringing of service wire at Centroplex Mall, Cuadra St., Brgy. 21, Bacolod City.

Time: 8:00AM to 4:00PM

Areas Affected: AF1 (portion only) areas along Manville Royale, Araneta St., Brgy. Pahanocoy

Time: 5:00AM to 7:00AM

Areas Affected: AGF1 Gonzaga (Substation – Lacson St.), Gonzaga St. (Gatuslao St. – Araneta St. &Gatuslao St. – Lacson St.), Mabini St. (Gonzaga St. – San Sebastian St.), San Sebastian St. (Mabini St. – Gatuslao St.), Gatuslao St. (San Sebastian St. – Galo St.), Luzuriaga St. (Gatuslao St. – Araneta St.), Cuadra St. (Gatuslao St. – Lacson St.), Rizal St. (Gatuslao St. – San Juan St.), Bay Center, Bishop’s Palace, San Sebastian Cathedral, DYAF – RadyoVeritas, GE Money Bank

Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
