Inaprubahan na ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) ang 13 ospital na pasok sa Solidarity trial ng World Health Organization (WHO) para sa bakuna laban sa Coronavirus Disease 2019 o COVID-19.
Ayon kay Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Secretary Fortunato dela Peña, walong trial zones ang pagdarausan nito sa buong bansa.
Kasama rito ang mga ospital sa National Capital Region (NCR) kabilang ang Philippine General Hospital, Manila Doctors Hospital, San Lazaro Hospital, Lung Center of the Philippines, St. Luke’s Medical Center-Quezon City, Research Institute for Tropical Medicine, Makati Medical Center, The Medical City at St. Luke’s Medical Center-BGC.
Gayundin ang Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center at Chong Hua Hospital sa Cebu City, Dela Salle Health Sciences Institute sa Cavite at Southern Philippines Medical Center sa Davao City.
Ang Solidarity trial ng WHO ay magsisimula sa susunod na buwan at inaasahang makukumpleto sa second quarter ng 2021.
