Inaasahang pagdating ng Sputnik V vaccines sa Pilipinas, resulta ng Duterte-Putin friendship – Sec. Locsin

Naniniwala ang Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) na ang inaasaang pagdating ng Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccines sa Pilipinas ay resulta ng pagkakaibigan nina Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte at Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Ito ang pahayag ni Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin sa initial na 20,000 doses ng Russian vaccine na darating sa bansa ngayong linggo.

Sa kanyang tweet, sinabi ni Locsin na ang pag-deliver ng mga bakuna ay bunga ng malapit na pagkakaibigan ng dalawang lider.


“No, Russia doesn’t need us. At all. It’s pure friendship between Digong and Putin, like Digong with Xi. I saw the friendship in Russia,” sabi ni Locsin sa Twitter.

Pinasalamantan ni Locsin ang Russian government lalo na si Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

“I just came out in Russian media and thanked Russia for its generous response to my cry for help. “Spasibo (God save you), Minister Lavrov.” The unrivaled master of diplomacy. I always had faith in Russian science remembering my dad pointing up, “There, Sputnik, blinking in the night sky,” sabi ni Locsin sa isang interview.

Ang Sputnik V vaccine ay gawa ng Gamaleya Research Institute at ang ikaapat na bakunang nabigyan ng Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) ng Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Maaari lamang itong iturok sa clinically healthy individuals may edad 18 anyos pataas.
