Nagpangayo sang pasaylo si Presidente Rodrigo Duterte sa Hong Kong angut sa 2010 Manila bus hostage crisis sa diin 8 ka mga turista ang napatay.
Madumduman nga natabo ang insidente sa idalom sang administrasyon ni former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino sa diin wala ini nagpangayo sang pasaylo sa pihak sang hingyo sang Hong Kong.
“There has been no official apologies for what happened during that incident… in August 2010. May I address myself to the Chinese people who are here: I apologize,” pahayag ni Duterte.
“From the bottom of my heart, as the President of the Philippines and on behalf of the Filipino people, may I formally apologize to you now. I guarantee you that this will never happen again.”
