PCSO awards P2.2-million to 3 charitable institutions

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), led by General Manager Melquiades A. Robles, awarded a total of P2.2-million to three qualified organizations in a ceremony at the PCSO Main Office in Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City on Friday, March 28, 2025.

Under the PCSO’s Institutional Partnership Program (IPP), financial assistance was extended to three beneficiaries:
• St. Joseph Home for Special Children, Inc. received Php900,000.00, accepted by Sr. Leoncia V. Mateo, O.P.
• The Ruth Foundation for Palliative and Hospice Care, Inc. was granted Php800,000, accepted by General Manager B-Etta P. Ayon, and
• Little Sisters of the Abandoned Elderly was given Php500,000, received by Mother Superior Sr. Sandra Da Silva.

The Institutional Partnership Program of the PCSO provides financial assistance to qualified organizations to meet the essential needs like food, medicines, and medical expenses of patients and residents under the institutions’ care. The assistance underscores the PCSO’s unwavering commitment to providing meaningful support to institutions dedicated to special needs care, hospice and palliative services, and elderly assistance. By extending these financial contributions, the PCSO continues to champion initiatives that uplift communities, ensuring that aid reaches those who need it the most.
