RTA TRAFFIC ADVISORY
In lieu with the implementation of the Flood Risk Management Project for Cagayan de Oro River Package No. 1 at Bonbon-Kauswagan area, the Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA) has implemented a temporary traffic scheme pursuant to E.O. No. 061-219.
🚧PHASE 1 (84 calendar days estimated period)
– Started last May 5, 2019, Sunday
- Temporary Westbound Lane Closed to vehicular traffic starting from the approach of Puntod-Kauswagan bridge until the junction of John the Baptist St.,
- Temporary Two-Way Traffic for all types of vehicles at Eastbound Lane from the junction of John the Baptist St. until the approach of Puntod-Kauswagan bridge.
🚧PHASE 2 (will commence after Phase 1 is done)
•Temporary Eastbound Lane Closed to vehicular traffic starting from the junction of John the Baptist St. until the approach of Puntod-Kauswagan bridge.
- Temporary Two-Way Traffic for all types of vehicles at Westbound Lane from the approach of Kauswagan-Puntod bridge.
🚧PHASE 3 (will commence after Phase 2 is done)
•Temporary Westbound and Eastbound Inner Lane closed to vehicular traffic bounded by John the Baptist St. and the approach of Puntod-Kauswagan bridge.
- Outer lanes of westbound and eastbound lanes are open for all types of vehicle.
🚧PHASE 4 (will commence after Phase 3 is done)
- Temporary Westbound Lane Closed to vehicular traffic starting from the approach of Puntod-Kauswagan bridge until the junction of John the Baptist St.,
- Temporary Two-Way Traffic for all types of vehicles at Eastbound Lane from the junction of John the Baptist St. until the approach of Puntod-Kauswagan bridge.
🚧PHASE 5 (will commence after Phase 4 is done)
- Temporary Eastbound Lane Closed to vehicular traffic starting from the junction of John the Baptist St. until the approach of Puntod-Kauswagan bridge.
- Temporary Two-Way Traffic for all types of vehicles at Westbound Lane from the approach of Kauswagan-Puntod bridge.
❌NO PARKING on BOTH SIDES (during the entire phases):
- San Pedro St./Coastal Road – from San Pedro-Bayabas Junction to Kauswagan-Puntod Bridge
- RN Pelaez Blvd – from RN Pelaez junction until San Pedro St.
- John the Baptist St. – from the junction of San Pedro St./Coastal Road.
🚸LOADING AND UNLOADING AREAS (during the entire phases):
•RN Pelaez Blvd – 100 meters on both sides before and after the intersection.
- San Pedro St. – 200 meters, right side of westbound lane after the intersection.
