Pagkakalooban ng 100 porsyentong libreng scholarship sa Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Course ang 1,000 tauhan at dependents ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
Ito’y sa pamamagitan ng kasunduan na nilagdaan kahapon sa pagitan ng AFP Educational Benefit System Office (AFPEBSO), Centre for International Education Global Colleges (CIE), at Rotary Club of Makati Circle of Friends (RCMCoF).
Ang signing ceremony ay dinaluhan ni Major General Adriano Perez Jr., Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel at mga privated sector partner na si Professor Nelia Cruz Sarcol, President and CEO ng CIE.
Ayon kay Sarcol, ang halaga ng 1,000 scholarship grants ay nasa P60 milyon.
Bibigyang prayoridad sa programa ang mga dependents ng mga sundalong killed in action (KIA), mga nagtamo ng permanent disability sa labanan, at mga namatay sa line of duty.
Pwede ring mag-apply para sa scholarship ang mga aktibong AFP personnel at kanilang mga dependents at mga anak ng mga retiradong sundalo.
