Inaasahang darating sa bansa ngayong buwan ang dagdag na isang milyong doses ng AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines.
Ayon kay AstraZeneca Philippines President Lotis Ramin, patuloy silang sumusuporta sa global vaccine-sharing initiative ng COVAX Facility, at iba pang supply networks para matiyak ang equitable access sa COVID-19 vaccines.
“The latest delivery estimates for the Philippines demonstrate our continuing partnership with COVAX, the national government, Department of Health, Local Government Units, and the private sector, working together to help heal the nation,” sabi ni Ramin.
“We look forward to continuing this collaborative effort to make an even greater impact in the country’s total efforts against the pandemic,” dagdag pa ni Ramin.
Sa ngayon, ang Pilipinas ay nakatanggap na ng higit 2.5 million doses ng AstraZeneca vaccines.
Ang AstraZeneca ay nagbibigay ng mataas na lebel ng proteksyon laban sa Delta at Alpha variants.
