Two lotto players in Davao and Quezon province bagged a shared jackpot prize of P6,184,178.80 in the Lotto 6/42 draw last April 5, 2025, with a winning combination of 11-10- 05-42-24-39.
The first winner, a 55-year-old instructor from Quezon took home her lotto prize last April 8, 2025. As a loyal lotto bettor since the launch of Lotto 6/42 in 1995, she became emotional when she shared her first goal for the prize money. “Tutubusin ko po ang ATM ko na sampung taon nang nakasangla,” she tearfully declared, referring to a long-standing financial challenge she’s finally able to resolve.

The second winner, a 45-year-old driver from Davao, claimed his prize on April 11, 2025. From having four numbers matched in the Ultra Lotto 6/58 once, his dedication as a lotto player for 15 years now has paid off. He now intends to retire from his work, use his earnings to fund his kids’ schooling, and start a small business to ensure his family’s financial security.
Both revealed their meaningful strategy, wherein they chose their number combinations based on the ages and birthdays of their family members.
These success stories demonstrate that while the lottery is a game of chance and a source of entertainment, it also has the power to transform the lives of fortunate winners in meaningful ways.
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), meanwhile, encourages the public to practice to responsible gaming and to remember that every lotto ticket purchased contributes to the agency’s various charitable programs and public service initiatives.
The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 9:00 PM, with live broadcast on IBC 13 and D8TV networks, and livestream on the PCSO official website (pcso.gov.ph), PCSO Games Hub, PCSO’s Facebook page, and YouTube channel.
