Manila, Philippines – Itutuloy ng Kamara sa Martes, August 28 ang pagdinig para sa panukalang ₱3.757 trillion national budget para sa 2019.
Ito ay matapos ang tatlong linggong standoff dahil sa isinusulong na cash-based budgeting scheme ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM)
Ayon kay House Appropriations Committee Chairman, Davao City Rep. Karlo Nograles – uumpisahan ang budget hearing kasama ang Dept. of Trade and Industry (DTI) at Dept. of Education (DepEd).
Susundan ito ng budget hearing para sa Office of the President, Office of the Vice President, Dept. of Interior and Local Government (DILG), at Dept. of National Defense (DND).
Sa Huwebes, August 30 ay magkakaroon naman ng budget hearing para sa Dept. of Labor and Employment (Dole) at Dept. of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
Susunod na didinggin ang pondo para sa hudikatura, Dept. of Transportation (DOTr), Dept. of Science and Technology (DOST), Dept. of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), at Dept. of Health (DOH).
