Davao City – Nahimong produktibo ang gipahigayong 3rd ComVal Campus Peace Symposium (CPS) sugod niadtong Septyembre 16-30, 2019 diin miabot sa 3,784 ka mga estudyante ang mitambong gikan sa 55 ka mga secondary schools sa probinsya sa Compostela Valley.
Gipangunahan ang aktibidad sa Youth for Peace-ComVal subay sa selebrasyon sa National Peace Consciousness Month matag bulan sa Septyembre uban ang mga peace partners niini sama sa Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) sa pagpanguna ni Governor Jayvee Tyron Uy, Department of Education (DepEd), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), 1001st Infantry Brigade – Philippine Army ug daghanan pang uban.
Ang aktibidad nagbaton sa temang Engaging Student Leaders, Empowering Peacebuilders, to Ripple Genuine Peace-building in the Zones of Peace.
Pinaagi sa mga programa ug aktibidad, gidasig ang mga estudyante nga mamahimong instrumento isip campus peacebuilders ug malikay sa pag-apil sa mga kalihokan sa mga rebeldeng grupo.
Gituki usab sa mga partisipante ang mga nag-unang problema sa nasud ug mga posibleng solusyon niini.
