Dapat mabakunahan laban sa COVID-19 ang 70-porsyento ng mga residente sa National Capital Region (NCR) ngayong taon.
Ayon kay OCTA Research Group Fellow, Dr. Guido David, ang kabuoang populasyon sa Metro Manila ay halos kalahati ng kabuoang populasyon ng Pilipinas.
“The advantage of that we have some of the more modern health facilities here and we have a local government system that is well structured,” ani David.
Pero aminado si David na malabo itong gawin sa loob lamang ng isang taon kung ikokonsidera ang ilang factors gaya ng transportation, storage, distribution, tracking sa mga nabakunahan.
“That is a bit, a little optimistic, I believe. But I think maybe we can’t get 70 million in one year. Bakit? Because there will be logistic nightmares to consider,” sabi ni David.
Kumpiyansa ang OCTA Research na maaari itong magbago kapag naplantsa na ng gobyerno ang immunization program.
