Manila, Philippines – Umaabot sa 87.38% o 8 mula sa 10 industry workers ang pumasa sa Competency Assessment and Certification for Workers ng Technical Education and Skills Development Authority matapos itong ilunsad sa sampung rehiyon.
Ayon kay TESDA Director General, Secretary Guiling Mamondiong, sa pamamagitan ng programang ito ay mahihikayat ang mga industry workers na dumaan sa assessment at certification ng ahensiya na kanilang magagamit para mapa-angat ang kalidad ng kanilang kasanayan.
Aniya, umabot din sa 150 representatives ang nakilahok sa paglulunsad ng CACW na kinabibilangan ng Industry Association/Partners, Government Institutions, TESDA officials and staff at Accredited Competency and Assessment Center Managers mula sa National Capital Region.
Sa datos ng TESDA, kabilang sa mga qualifications na kasama sa CACW program ay ang Scaffolding Erection, Pharmacy Services, Food and Beverage Services, Hilot-Wellness Massage, Housekeeping, Shielded Metal Arc Welding; Driving; Visual Graphic Design, Automotive Servicing; Computer Systems Servicing, Motorcycle and Small Engine at Electrical Installation and Maintenance.
