The holidays brought extra cheer to a government employee from Camiling, Tarlac, who won the ₱13,829,620.60 jackpot prize in the PCSO Mega Lotto 6/45 draw last December 24, 2025.
The lucky player claimed the prize at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City on January 8, 2026, presenting the winning ticket bearing the combination 27-24-12-18-42-03.
The winner shared that the numbers he played were derived from the birthdays of his family members, a practice he has followed since he started betting.
A regular and hopeful lotto player since the beginning of the lotto games, he said he never lost faith despite years of trying his luck.
Describing himself as someone who earns little but manages to get by in life, the public servant said the win came as a complete surprise and a huge blessing for his family.
Now a newly minted multimillionaire, he expressed his intention to use the winnings wisely. While he did not go into specific details, he emphasized that the prize money will be allocated to practical needs and long-term plans to help improve his family’s quality of life.
“Hindi ko pa po mapag-isipan, dumaan ang Pasko at Bagong Taon sadyang sobrang saya naming magcelebrate. Fow now ideposit ko muna sa bangko at pagpaplanuhan naming mag-asawa ang paggastos. Salamat sa PCSO at lalong higit sa Panginoon,” he said.
