Administrative order para sa pagtitipid ng kuryente sa mga tanggapan ng gobyerno, suportado ng DOE

Ikinalugod ng Department of Energy (DOE) ang Administrative Order (AO) No. 15 para sa pagpapatupad ng Government Energy Management Program (GEMP).

Kaakibat nito ang pagpapatupad ng Republic Act No. 11285 or the Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EEC) Act para sa lahat ng government entities sa ilalim ng executive branch.

Kabilang dito ang Government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs), government financial institutions (GFls), gayun din ang subsidiaries at State Universities and Colleges (SUCs).

Ayon kay Energy Secretary Raphael Lotilla, malaking tulong ito lalo na ngayong El Niño.
