Davao City- Walay posibleng ‘Suspension of Military Operations’ kun SOMO nga ikapanaug ang Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) karong kapaskuhan tungod kay gikanselar na sa kagamhanan ang hinabing pangkalinaw uban sa CPP-NPA-NDFP.
Kini maoy pamahayag ni 10th Infantry Division Commander Maj. Gen. Noel Clement atol sa pakighinabi sa DXDC RMN Davao.
“As of now, we cannot have SOMO if there’s no peace negotiations with them (NPA) . . . In as far as the whole NPA is concerned, I don’t think there will be a SOMO for this Christmas season” sumala ni Clement.
Matud sa hepe sa armadong kusog, posible lamang nga adunay SOMO dinhi sa dakbayan sa Davao depende usab sa mahisgutan sa local peace committee nga unang gimugna ni Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio alang sa eksperimento nga localized peacetalks.
“If ever there will be SOMO, most likely it will become local agreement depende sa mga local peace committees,” pagpatin-aw ni Clement.
