Kinoronahan bilang Binibining Pilipinas International 2023 ang Palaweña beauty na si Angelica Lopez.
Tinalo ni Lopez ang tatlumpu’t siyam na kandidata mula sa iba’t ibang panig ng bansa sa coronation night kagabi sa Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Sa Q&A portion, si Manila Mayor Honey Lacunan Pangan ang nagbato sa kanya ng tanong na: “What makes you a binibini who walks the talk and who is beyond mere self-promotion?”
“I stand here tonight because it is my mother that instilled [in] me the values and the morals that I’m using to be the woman that I am today. A woman who has the strength, courage, and tenacity. The strength to decide for herself what she wants, really works hard to achieve it, to have the courage to face the obstacles of life, and tenacity to hold onto her wisdom of choice. And I believe it is always a dream come to be here. And that is why I am a Binibini that I’m always meant to be,” sagot ni Lopez.
Dahil dito, si Lopez ang kakatawan sa Pilipinas sa 61st Miss International Pageant sa Oktubre na gaganapin sa Tokyo, Japan.
Itinanghal naman bilang Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2023 si Anna Valencia Lakrini ng Bataan.
First runner-up naman si Katrina Anne Johnson ng Davao del Sur at second runner-up si Atasha Reign Parani ng General Trias, Cavite.
