Davao City – Gi-awhag sa City Government of Davao ang mga intresado’ng Davaoeños nga mo-apply sa gi-abrihang special batch alang sa Work for Davao, Cash for Work Program sa lokal nga gobyerno, sa pagtabang sa mga indibidwal nga apektado gihapon ang trabaho gumikan sa mga measures nga gipatuman nunot sa Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
Matud ni Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP) Commissioner Norman Baloro, gi-abrihan ang maong special batch aron ma kumpleto ang target nga 45,915 beneficiaries sa Work for Davao.
Matud niini nga plano sa City Government of Davao nga magbaton og 23 batches sa programa apan wala nakapadayon ang ubang mga benepisyaryo gumikan sa nagka lain-laing rason.
“One of the reasons they haven’t continued was because they got sick during the period of implementation of their batch. Another was because there was a community lockdown in their residence or area, some also went home to their hometowns, and lastly, during the implementation of their batch, fortunately, they were hired for work,” segun ni Baloro.
Ang Work for Davao, Cash for Work Program adunay total allocated budget nga P169,944,000 gikan sa Local Government Support Fund nga gikan usab sa Department of Budget and Management (DBM). Matag benepisyaryo makadawat og P3,960 sa ilang napulo (10) ka adlaw nga community work.
