Nagdulot ng debate sa pagitan ng netizens ang post ni Matteo guidicelli sa Instagram nitong Sabado, Hulyo 6.
Ani Matteo sa caption ng photo kung saan magkatabi sila ni Robin Padilla at parehong naka-saludo sa watawat ng Pilipinas:
“Salute to the flag, salute to our beautiful country! We challenge YOU, especially our colleagues in the showbiz industry.
“Instead of talking smack about different issues, why not unite so we may progress to make a better tomorrow.”
Kasunod nito, nag-post din ang Kapamilya actor nitong Lunes, Hulyo 8, ng larawan kasama ang mga bata sa Cotabato City na may caption na:
“The last thing Soldiers want to do is fight. What Soldiers really want to do is nurture and build a brighter future for our children.”
May mga netizen na kinuwestiyon ang pananaw ng aktor at sinabing palibhasa ay mayaman ito kaya hindi alam ang totoong pinagdadaanan ng mga mahihirap.
Gano’n din naman ang naging simpatya ng aktres na si Chai Foncier na tila galit na galit na nag-post sa Facebook, Martes, Hulyo 9.
Ani Chai sa kaniyang post, na hindi na ngayon makita sa Facebook:
“No matter how many feeding programs he does, Matteo GOYO-celli doesn’t know shit about this country.
“He never had people close to him die as collateral damage, he never was poverty stricken because if he ever does, DADA is always there for him.

“Dahil siya, ibubuwis ang buhay para sa bansa sakaling magka gyera. Di gaya ninyong mga tumitira sa kanya, mga inutil na pasanin kayo ng lipunan!,” ani Doctolero.
