Maaari nang makipag-ugnayan online ang mga overseas Filipinos na mayroong voting records at nakarehistro abroad sa Commission on Elections (Comelec) Office of Overseas Voting (OFOV).
Sa ilalim ng Resolution No. 10709, inawtorisa ng Comelec En Banc ang OFOV na gumamit ng virtual, online o electronic platforms para tumanggap at magproseso ng iba’t ibang request, applications, o transactions.
Layunin nito na makapagbigay sa mga overseas Filipinos ng alternatibong paraan para ma-avail ang serbisyo ng tanggapan.
Ang mga transactions na pinapayagan online ay ang sumusunod:
1. Certification bilang overseas voter
2. Reinstatement ng pangalan na natanggal mula sa National Registry of Overseas Voters (NROV)
3. Correction of entries sa Overseas Voter’s Registration Record (OVRR)
4. Reactivation ng OVRR
5. Pag-update ng mailing o postal addresses at iba pang contact information
6. Paglipat ng registration records sa ibang post o bansas;
7. Paglipat ng registration records mula overseas post patungo sa Philippine city/municipality
8. Applications para sa issuance of certified true copy of Overseas Voters’ Registration Record
Ang request o applications ay maaaring i-file sa pamamagitan ng iRehistro System (https://irehistro.comelec.gov.ph/irehistro/ovf1), o via email (ov.concerns@comelec.gov.ph), o kaya naman ay Facebook Messenger (https://www.facebook.com/overseasvotingph)
Paalala ng poll body na ang applications o transactions ay mangangailangan ng live capture ng biometrics data ng aplikante o botante, tulad ng kanilang litrato, pirma, at fingerprints.
