Sumala ni Department of Education XI spokesperson Jenielito Atillo nga naningkamot ang Davao Durians aron madugangan pa Gold Medals.
“There is a drought really despite of the efforts but this is not yet the end. Our athletes are still fighting, struggling and trying to push forward,” matud ni Atillo.
Segun ni Atillo sa nahibiling tulo pa ka mga adlaw makasakmit pag daghang bulawan ang rehiyon.
“The end point is not yet over, the games are not yet over because as you count the medals of the region who have the highest numbers of medals which is NCR, they are still in 20 plus medals, so the athletes are vying for 100 plus medals, doing the arithmetic daghan pag nahibilin dinha,” matud ni Atillo.

Samtang sa partial & official tally as of May 1 08:41pm nagpabiling numero 1 sa overall standing ang NCR nga adunay 43 Gold medals, 36 Silver medals ug 22 Bronze medals ug aduna nay 2 ka Gold medals, 9 Silver medals ug 20 Bronze medals ang Davao Region.
