Nagpaalala ang Department of Education (DepEd) sa mga eskwelahan na bawal maningil sa mga magulang ngayong nagpapatuloy ang enrollment hanggang sa matapos ang school year.
Ayon kay Education Secretary Sonny Angara, ito ay alinsunod sa DepEd Memorandum No. 41, s. 2024, o ang “No Collection Policy.”
Nilinaw naman ng DepEd na hindi sakop ng polisiya ang membership fees sa Red Cross, Girl Scouts of the Philippines, at Boy Scouts of the Philippines.
Hindi rin sakop ng pagbabawal ang kontribusyon ng mga magulang, donors at stakeholders para sa barrio high schools.
Pinagbabawalan din ang DepEd personnel na mag-solicit o mangolekta ng contributions, alinsunod sa DepEd Order No. 49, s. 2022, o ang Promotion of Professionalism in the Implementation and Delivery of Basic Education and Programs and Services.
