Davao City – Mag-agad lamang ang Department of Education (DepEd-XI) kung himuong mandatory ang pagbakuna sa ilang mga personahe batok Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) sama sa direktiba nga ipatuman sa mga empleyado sa City Government of Davao.
Sa interbyu sa DXDC RMN Davao kang Jenielito Atillo, Spokesperson sa DepEd-XI, gisulti niini nga importante nga luwas sa COVID-19 ang mga personahe sa eskwelahan, mapa-teaching/non-teaching personnel ug bisan sa kabataan/estudyante ilabina kung itugot na ang face-to-face (f2f) classes.
“All opinions or all positions are actually valid sa pagkakaron with respect sa pag-ensure nga atoang komunidad luwas gayud sa COVID-19 and vaccination for the children are one of those,” segun ni Atillo.
Dugang sa DepEd-XI Spokesperson, padayon kining mosubmitar sa desisyon sa Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) ug pagtugot ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte kabahin sa pagbakuna batok COVID-19.
Una na usab nga giawhag ni DepEd Secretary Leonor Briones ang mga magtutudlo nga magpabakuna diin ubay-ubay na usab sa mga magtutudlo dinhi sa Davao Region ang nagpabakuna.
“Teachers must be champions for the vaccine in their respective communities. We are continuously conducting information campaigns as well as surveys to monitor the responses of our teachers to this policy,” sulti ni Briones.
