Mandaluyong City. The long wait is over for the solo winner who bagged the Grand Lotto 6/55 jackpot prize of Php298,773,641.20 last March 27, 2021. It took the winner almost three weeks to claim the jackpot prize due to the onset of the Holy Week simultaneous with the declaration of Metro Manila and nearby provinces to be put under Enhanced Community Quarantine by the IATF.
The lucky ticket bearing the numbers 38-35-11-22-39 and 47 was purchased by the winner in Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur during a short job-related trip to the province. Formerly an Overseas Filipino Worker, the winner returned home to the Philippines for good and is now working as a government employee.
This very lucky individual intends to share some of the money to his siblings and plans to donate to the church and help those who are mostly affected by the pandemic saying, “Lubos po ang aking pasasalamat sa malaking blessing na ito.
GM Garma added.
