Davao City – Striktong gipatuman sa Department of Education nga ang mga estudyante lamang sa sekondarya ang mupailawom sa random drug testing ug walay apil ang mga anaa sa elementarya.
Giklaro kini ni DepEd Davao Region spokesperson Jenelito Atillo subay sa mga nigula nga mga hungihong.
“Walay kamatuoran tong mikatag nga mga istorya ang apil ang sa grades 4,5,6 kay adunay balaod mandating that only secondary or high school students will be subjected to a random drug testing ug walay elementary students,” matud ni Atillo.
Gitataw ni Atillo nga tumong sa pagpailawom sa mga estudyante sa drug testing aron nga matabangan kini sa posibleng addiction sa droga ug aron dali silang ma-rescue.
“While we understand the position of PDEA and the PNP pertaining on the campaign on drugs ang DepEd campaign man gud is different sa ilaha because we are more on education and we are more on the effort to rescue our children and provide them with the appropriate possible intervention because we wanted to provide them the needed solution if they are actually affected,” segun ni Atillo.
Dugang ni Atillo nga si Education Secretary Leonor Briones lamang ang adunay kopya sa mga pangalan sa mga batang nipailawom sa drug testing ug magpabilin gayod kining confidential.
“Walay sanctions kung mag-positive sila ang intent lang is to give due assistance to them not even the record ug pahibaluon syempre ang mga ginikanan,” matud ni Atillo.
