Historical film na “GomBurZa”, humakot ng pitong awards sa 49th Metro Manila Film Festival “Gabi ng Parangal”… Best Actor at Best Director, nasungkit!

Humakot ng pitong awards ang historical film na “GomBurZa” sa kakatapos lang na 49th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) “Gabi ng Parangal”.

Pinaingay ng “Gomburza” ang MMFF stage matapos mauwi ni Cedric Juan ang Best Actor habang nasungkit ni Pepe Diokno ang Best Director.

Nabitbit din ng nasabing pelikula ang Second Best Picture, Gatpuno Antonio Villegas Cultural Award, Best Production Design, Best Cinematography at Best Sound.


Apat na awards naman ang napanalunan ng love story film na “When I Met You in Tokyo” kabilang na ang Best Actress ni Vilma Santos, Fourth Best Picture, FPJ Memorial Award for Excellence at Best Float.

Nakapag-uwi rin ang horror film na “Mallari” na apat na awards kabilang ang Best Supporting Actor ni JC Santos, Third Best Picture, Best Musical Score at Best Visual Effects.

Nasungkit naman ng fantasy film na “Firefly” ang Best Screenplay, First Best Picture at nauwi ni Euwenn Mikaell ang Best Child Performer.

Dalawang awards naman ang nauwi ng comedy film na “Becky at Badette” kabilang na ang Best Original Theme Song at Best Gender Sensitivity Award.

Habang, wagi naman bilang Best Editing ang horror film na “Kampon” at Best Supporting Actress si Miles Ocampo sa pagganap sa drama film na “Family of Two (A Mother and Son’s Story)”.

Samantala… binigyan naman ang Film Producer na si Mother Lily Monteverde na Marichu Veraperez Maceda Memorial Award.
