Inanunsyo ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) na ang inbound travel mula NCR Plus bubble, Cebu City, Davao City patungong Western Visayas ay pansamantalang sinuspinde sa loob ng isang linggo.
Ito ay matapos aprubahan ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) ang hiling ng mga Local Government Units (LGUs) sa Region 6 na suspendihin ang inbound passenger travel mula sa mga nabanggit na lugar patungo sa rehiyon.
Ayon sa DOTr, sakop ng direktiba ang returning residents, tourists, authorized persons outside of residence (APOR), returning overseas Filipinos at overseas Filipinos workers (OFWs).
Ang pagbiyahe ng essential goods tulad ng pagkain at gamot, military aid at relief efforts ay hindi maaapektuhan ng one-week travel moratorium mula April 4 hanggang 10.
