Manila, Philippines – Aprubado na ng House Justice Committee ang committee report at resolusyon na nagbabasura sa impeachment complaint laban Commission on Elections Chairman Andres Bautista.
Sa batong 26-2, inaprubahan ng mga komite ang mosyon ni Misamis Occidental Representative Henry Oaminal kaugnay sa committee report at resolusyon.
Una nang ibinasura ang reklamong impeachment nina dating Negros Oriental Rep. Jacinto Paras at Atty. Ferdinand Topacio matapos itong idineklarang insufficient in form at substance.
Kabilang sa mga alegasyon ng naturang mga complainant laban kay Bautista ay betrayal of public trust, corruption, other high crimes at culpable violation of the constitution.
