Ayon kay PMA Spokesperson Major Reynan Afan, class valedictorian si Umalla na tatanggap ng Presidential Saber mula kay Pangulong Duterte, Philippine Navy Saber mula naman kay Philippine Navy flag officer in Command Vice Admiral Robert Empedrad at distinguished cadet award, academic group award at iba pa.
Si Umalla ay mapapabilang sa Philippine Navy.
Si Umalla ang ika-limang babae na naging class valedictorian sa PMA simula noong 1993.
