Kaso sang Leptospirosis sa syudad sang Iloilo nagnubo sang 71%

SYUDAD sang Iloilo – Nagnubo ang kaso sang leptospirosis sa Iloilo city halin Enero tubtob Hunyo subong nga tuig suno sa Iloilo City Health Office (CHO).

Sa record sang CHO, nabalhag ang 5 ka kaso sang leptospirosis sa diin isa ang napatay halin Enero 1 tubtob Hunyo 22, 2019 sa diin 70.6% ang gin nubo kon ikumparar sa kaangay nga period sang nagligad nga tuig.

Suno kay City Health Officer Dr. Bernard Caspe nagnubo ang kaso sang leptospirosis bangod sa masangkad nga advocacy campaign.


Subong man, nagpanugyan si Caspe sa publiko nga mangin mabinantayon ilabi pa nga tig-ululan na naman.

“During rainy season, beware of wading in flood water especially when you have an open wound. If in case you cannot avoid it, immediately visit your district health centers so that we can give you medicine,” ang pahayag ni Caspe.
“This rainy season there are a lot of diseases that may hit you such as respiratory tract infection, flu, diarrhea, dengue, water and food borne diseases, and leptospirosis. In order to avoid these, always bring your raincoats, hats, umbrella, eat healthy and safe food, and as much as possible avoid wading in flooded water which may be contaminated with the urine of mice and rats.”
