Umapela si Assistant Majority Leader at Quezon City Representative Precious Hipolito-Castelo na huwag pahirapan ang publiko sa pagkuha ng COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
Nauna dito ay nangako ang Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) na mag-i-isyu ng vaccination certificate simula sa susunod na buwan upang magkaroon ng uniform o iisang certificate at hindi malito ang mga otoridad.
Pero giit ni Castelo, dapat mabilis at libre lamang sa publiko ang kukuning vaccination certificate mula sa ahensya.
“The government should not burden the people financially for these certificates, which should be issued fast with no red tape and bureaucratic delay as soon as the needed data reaches the DICT. There should also be no politics in their issuance,” ani Castelo.
Bukod sa wala dapat red tape at delay, pinasisiguro rin ng kongresista na walang pulitika sa pagiisyu ng dokumento.
Kakailanganin aniya ng mga fully vaccinated ang certification para sa local o international travel, employment, mobility, education, at iba.
Dahil mabilis at libre ay posible rin aniyang makatulong ang dokumentong ito para mahikayat pa ang marami na magpabakuna lalo na sa aspetong magagamit ito sa iba’t ibang pangangailangan.
“The fast and free-of-chance issuance of the vaccination document and the numerous purposes it would serve could entice those still hesitant to get vaccinated to finally take the vaccine. For one, the document could enhance mobility,” sabi ni Castelo.
Pinaghahanda naman ni Castelo ang DICT at pandemic task force sa mga posibleng problema na kaharapin sa vaccination certificates dahil maraming establisyimento at malalayong LGUs ang walang internet access habang marami rin sa mga fully vaccinated ang walang smart phones at mobile internet.
