Davao City – Dakong hagit alang kang newly designated Davao City Police Office city director Police Col. Kirby John Kraft ang pagbantay ug pagsiguro nga luwas ug malinawon ang syudad sa Davao.
Nagpasalamat si Kraft kang Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte sa pagsalig ug pagpili kaniya isip bag-ong lider sa DCPO.
“Allow me to thank you Ma’am for giving me the chance to be the city director of Davao City Police Office, it is a rare opportunity for me in my career and I will never fail you Ma’am,” matud ni Kraft.
Gipasalig niini nga mas palig-onon pa ang siguridad sa lungsod.
“Rest assured that I will perform my given task as city director 100%, 24 hours a day, kung pwedi ko pong lampasan ang 100% gagawin ko po Ma’am para lang matupad ko ang aking pangako,” matud ni Kraft.
Sumala ni Kraft nga iyahang ipadayon ang mga programa ug proyektong na establisar ni Police Col. Alexander Tagum.
Samtang, gibutyag ni Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte nga gipili gayod niya si Kraft tungod kay estranghero kini sa Davao Region.
“Because I feel nga kung kita-kita lang mga taga-Davao, mga bisaya and we get someone nga kaila pod nato, familiariaty will be our enemy. So dapat it should be someone looking from the outside to tell us what needs to be improved,” segun ni Duterte.
Kampante ang mayor nga mahimo ni Kraft ang iyahang trabaho isip bag-ong lider sa DCPO.
“Keeping the city safe maybe a tall order but with your track record and with the support of over 3,000 uniformed and non uniformed personnel and auxillaries of DCPO we are confident that you can do the job,” dugang sa mayor.
Mando sa alkalde ngadto kang Kraft nga iimprobar ug paayuhon pa ang gibilin ni Tagum.
“Col. Tagum already laid the foundation, already built the first floor, we ask you sir na huwag na nating sirain iyong first floor, we only add and build the second floor,” sumala niini.
