Aabot sa limang daan at tatlumput anim na mga long at short firearms ng walong mga security agency ang kanilang isinuko sa PNP Civil Security Group at PNP Supervisory Office for Security And Investigation Agencies.
Ayon kay Police Director Camilo Cascolan Director ng PNP CSG isinuko ng walong agency ang kanilang mga baril dahil hindi na sila makapag-renew ng kanilang lisensya sa dahilang lugi na at ang iba naman ay dahil sa mga paglabag.
Ang walong security agency na ito ay ang:
– Southern Port Security agency inc.
– El Grande Security Agency
– Birdseye Security and Investigation Corporation
– Goldbrick Security Agency
– Over Seer Security Agency Inc.
– 24 Oras Bantay Security Services
– Defcon One Security Services Inc.
– Jopra Security Services Inc.
Isinuko ang mga baril mula July 7 2018 hanggang unang linggo ngayong buwan ng Agosto.
Ang mga baril ay iprinisenta ng PNP CSG sa media dito sa Camp Crame.
Ang mga isinukong baril ay iti-turn over sa PNP Firearms and Explosives Office.
