A lone lucky lotto player from Batangas, who was accompanied by his wife, claimed the P84,057,06.00 jackpot prize of the Super Lotto 6/49 at the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) main office in Mandaluyong City on July 1, 2021.
The winner bought the winning ticket using a lucky pick system.
The lucky ticket’s winning combination is 10-20-32-40-08-11 and was purchased at an outlet in Nasugbu, Batangas,
The lucky player told the PCSO that he has been playing for 20 years, and has a pet number but on that day he decided to play on a separate lucky pick.
Out of joy and disbelief, the new millionaire wept as he claimed his jackpot prize at the PCSO’s main office.
Maraming-maraming salamat sa PCSO,” he expressed.
PCSO Vice-Chairperson and General Manager Royina Marzan-Garma has urged the public to continue patronizing PCSO game products because revenue of the agency goes to charities benefitting Filipinos in dire need of assistance.
Under the Tax Reform Acceleration and inclusion (TRAIN) Law, a 20% tax will automatically be deducted to the jackpot prize and the said winnings should be claimed within one year from the date of draw otherwise it would be forfeited.
