Naghakot ang lokal na pamahalaan ng Maynila ng parangal sa 8th Regional Competitiveness Summit ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
Nakamit ng Local Government Unit (LGU) Manila ang Top One sa tatlong categories Overall Competitiveness Award for Highly Urbanized Cities; Most Competitive in Infrastructure Award in Highly Urbanized Cities; at Most Competitive in Government Efficiency Award for High Urbanized Cities.
Naging 3rd place naman ang LGU Manila sa dalawang categories na Most Competitive in Resiliency for Highly Urbanized Cities at Most Competitive in Government Efficiency.
Laking pasasalamat naman ni Mayor “Isko” Moreno sa pagiging masigasig ng kanyang mga kasamahan sa LGU Manila at sa mga organizer ng kompetisyon.
