Handang magbahagi ng kanilang oras bilang mga volunteers para sa iakasisiguro ng tagumpay ng 30th South East Asian (SEA) Games ang mag-asawang sina Congresswoman Florida “Rida” Robes ng lone district ng San Jose del Monte City (SJDM) Bulacan at kabiyak na si SJDM Mayor Arturo “Arthur” Robes.
Tampok sa 2019 SEA Games ang 56 sports at 530 events. Mayroon itong 58 competition venues at walong non-competition venues.
Welcome opportunity para kay Rep. Robes na kilalang advocate of empowered digital spaces, ang naturang palaro para palaganapin ang mabuting dulot nito sa bansa.
Ang 2019 SEA Games ay gaganapin mula November 30 hanggang December 11. “As digital volunteers, we are considered are not only the ambassadors of the Volunteers Program, but of the Games as well,” sabi ni Rep. Robes. “It’s necessary to express our support to the country for hosting this milestone event. Of course, we also have to encourage our own athletes and those from other countries who have honored us with their presence. The fastest way to let them know about this is through social media. The human touch is amplified by technology.”
Sa kanyang parte, Sinabi naman ni Mayor Arthur Robes na handa na siya para sumama sa libu-libong SEA Games volunteers. “I am honored to be among thousands of Filipinos who have been given the opportunity to be an ambassador for the games,” saad ng aklakde. “Each of us can contribute to this undertaking. Being able to spread the word about it online may be a small gestures, but I realized that it means a lot for the participants to know that we support them no matter what. It’s the least we can do to give thanks for their hard work.”
Ang digital campaign para sa 2019 SEA Games ay may dalawang official hashtags: #WeWinAsOne at #AngSayaMagkaisa. Iyon ang ginagamit ng mag-asawa sa tuwing sila ay nagpopost sa social media hinggil sa palaro.ito ay tumutugon sa basic #SEAGames2019 hashtags.
Hinihimok ang publiko na suportahan ang digital campaign na naglalayong i-motivate ang 9,000 volunteers na nagkakaloob ng kanilang oras at pagod sa naturang sporting event.
Pahayag ni Rep. Robes sa publiko, “There’s no gesture that’s ‘too small.’ Every bit of help counts. Take a few minutes to post something to encourage the organizers, the players, or the volunteers. You don’t know how much your support means to them.”
Dagdag naman ni Mayor, “People can accomplish great things if there’s a crowd cheering them on. The support of our fellow Filipinos is priceless. We’re already winners when we help each other.”
