Aklan – Inilabas ng Dept. of Tourism (DOT) ang inisyal na listahan ng mga establisyimento na certified compliant sa mga requirements na inilatag ng boracay inter-agency task force.
Ayon kay Tourism Sec. Bernadette Romulo-Puyat – maari nang magbukas ng operasyon at tumanggap ng mga bisita ang nasa 25 accomodation establishments nay kabuoang higit 2,000 kwarto sa susunod na buwan.

Dagdag pa ni Puyat – ang rehabilitasyon ng Boracay ay magpapatuloy kahit ilulunsad ang soft opening nito sa Oct. 26.
Aniya ang first phase ng rehabilitation ay matatapos sa Oktubre habang ang second phase ay sa kalagitnaan ng susunod na taon, at ang third phase ay makukumpleto sa katapusan ng 2019.
Magsasagawa naman ng dry-run o partial opening sa Oct. 16 hanggang 25.
