“Efficient, accessible, and reliable public transport is the key to progress,” sabi ni Rep. Robes. “By cutting the travel time from Manila to Cavite from four hours by land to 15 minutes by water, these ferries or water jeepneys will give people back the precious time that they lose in commuting.”
Ipinunto pa ng mambabatas “These water jeepneys are welcome additions to the mass transport system. Having people spend less time in stuck in traffic improves their quality of life. They have time to rest or bond with their families and recharge. Well-rested people are better employees and professionals.”
“In San Jose del Monte, for instance, we are working on establishing possible alternate routes so that people don’t have to spend so much time on the road. Their time matters to us, so we don’t want them wasting it. They can be happier and more productive with the time that is saved,” sabi pa ni Robes.
