Mas mababang confidential and intelligence fund para sa 2025, hiniling ng Marcos administration

Humihiling ng P10.29 billion na confidential and intelligence fund ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., para sa 2025 na mas mababa ng 16% sa P12.38 billion na confidential and intelligence fund ngayon taon.

Nakapaloob sa isinumiteng 2025 National Expenditure Program ng Department of Budget ang Management sa Kamara, ang P5.92 billion na intelligence funds, at P4.37 billion na confidential funds.

Binanggit ni Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman na lalaanan ng confidential and intelligence fund ang Department of National Defense, National Intelligence Coordinating Agency, Philippine National Police, Department of Justice, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Department of Transportation na sumasaklaw sa Philippine Coast Guard, National Security Council.


Ayon kay Pangandaman, kasama ring bibigyan ng nasabing pondo ang Department of Finance, Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity Peace, Office of the Ombudsman, Commission on Audit, Anti-Money Laundering Council, Commission on Human Rights at Games and Amusement Board.

Hindi naman binanggit ni Pangandaman ang Office of the Vice President sa mga ahensyang bibigyan ng confidential funds sa susunod na taon.
