Ini may kaangtanan sa ginakwestiyon nga residency sang alkalde.
Sa iya Facebook account, ari ang post sang alkalde:
“The Comelec First Division ruled in favor of the petition against me back in 2015 declaring my candidacy null and void due to residency issues.
I believe that my legal team and I put up a good defense but Comelec thought otherwise. We have five days to submit our Motion for Reconsideration. This will then be decided by the Comelec En Banc, upon which, any decision will be executory.
I have done my best to serve the people of Lambunao in the past 19 months. And today, I can only ask for your prayers that I may be allowed to continue.”
