Una ng nagdesisyon si Mayor Nelson Legacion na mag-under ng testing base na rin sa payo ng mga doctor sa Bicol Medical Center dahil sa frequent exposures nila kaugnay ng kanilang gampanin sa paglaban sa COVID-19. Tunghayan sa ibaba ang kanyang pahayag:

After releasing the result of the swab test on Patient Bicol #26, Doc Butch Borja came to me saying that because of our exposure and of our role in the fight against COVID19 I, together with him, Divine and Malou of the Epidemiology Unit had to be swab tested. He also said that this was the advise of some BMC doctors as a necessary precautionary measure.

We were swab tested last Wednesday morning, April 22.
At about 6pm I thought of not coming home because if I was carrying the virus, I would be infecting my wife and my children. I know that our health workers and other frontliners have also the same concern. But we have to go on, do our best and leave everything else to God!

My wife and my children as well as the key members of the IMT were likewise thankfully pleased with the results.
