Pinagbibitiw na rin ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang 168 na opisyal ng mga government-owned and -controlled corporations matapos ipag-utos ang courtesy resignation sa mga miyembro ng kanyang gabinete.
Sa inilabas na notice ng Governance Commission, nakasaad na magkakaroon ng maayos na proseso ng pagpapasa ng courtesy resignations para mas maging episyente ang pagsusumite.
Batay sa notice, ang mga courtesy resignation ng Non Ex-Officio Chairpersons at Chief Executive Officers ng GOCCs ay dapat i-address sa Pangulo at isumite sa pamamagitan ng Office of the Executive Secretary.
Habang ang mga courtesy resignation naman ng mga Appointive Directors, Trustees, at miyembro Governing Board ng GOCC ay direktang magsusumite sa Governance Commission at hindi na sa Office of the Executive Secretary.
Ang mga GOCCs ay kinabibilangan ng Land Bank of the Philippines, Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP), Social Security System (SSS), Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG), National Power Corporation (NPC), National Food Authority (NFA), Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), at iba pa.
