iFM News Laoag – A pre-construction meeting was held for a P40 Million farm to market road projects for the Second District of Ilocos Norte from the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) on January 11, 2024.
According to Chief Agrarian Reform Program Officer Rommel R. Aquino, farm to market project was sponsored by the Office of the Second Congressional District spearheaded by Congressman Angelo Marcos Barba and it will serve farmers especially the agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs).
One of the beneficiaries are from Barangay Sumader in the City of Batac and there are three barangays also who were included of the same program in the Municipality of Badoc namely; Barangay Balbaldes, Barangay Camanga, and Barangay Nagrebcan.
Each barangay will receive P10 Million for farm to market road projects funded in the year 2023 and will be implemented this year, 2024. ### Bernard Ver, RMN News
