Manila, Philippines – Pinabubuwag ni AANGAT Tayo Partylist Representative Neil Abayon ang siyam na state firms at 12 ahensya para pag-isahin ito at gawing iisang kagawaran.
Sa House Bill 7873 na inihain ni Abayon, layunin ng pagbuwag at pag-iisa sa state firms at sa mga ahensya na gawing efficient ang burukrasya at makapag-generate ng savings ang gobyerno.
Sa ganitong paraan din ay hindi na magdodoble ang mga tanggapan na may iisa lamang na uri ng trabaho.
Sa ilalim ng panukala ay lilikha ng Department of Investments Promotions o DIP mula sa mga bubuwaging state firms at agencies.
Kabilang sa mga state firms na planong pag-isahin sa ilalim ng lilikhaing DIP ang Clark Development Corporation, John Hay Management Corporation, First Cavite Industrial Estate, Inc., Poro Point Management Corporation, Duty Free Philippines, Inc., Batangas Land Company, Pinagkaisa Realty Corporation, Kamayan Realty Corporation at GY Real Estate, Inc.
Samantala ang 12 agencies naman ay ang mga sumusunod; Board of Investments, Philippine Economic Zone Authority, Public-Private Partnerships Center, Bases Conversion and Development Authority, Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority, PHIVIDEC Industrial Authority, Philippine Retirement Authority, Cagayan Economic Zone Authority, Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan, Aurora Pacific Economic Zone and Freeport Authority, Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone Authority at Southern Philippines Development Authority.
