Sinuspinde ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) ang pagbibigay ng voter’s certification mula September 27 hanggang 30.
Ayon kay Comelec Spokesperson James Jimenez, magaganap ito sa lahat ng Offices of the Election Officer (OEOs).
Ito ay para mabigyang-daan ang mga magpaparehistro sa mga huling araw ng kanilang voter’s registration.
Epektibo rin ito sa issuance ng voter’s certification sa lahat ng OEOs sa barangay, mall registration sites o sa mga Comelec field personnel ng satellite offices.
Para sa mga magpaparehistro, kailangang magpresenta ng isang valid ID at magsumite ng photocopy ng parehong ID, at magbayad ng P75 na fee.
Samantala, tiniyak naman ni Jimenez na libre ang pagkuha ng voter’s certification sa mga senior citizen, person with disability (PWD), miyembro ng Indigenous Peoples (IPS) at Indigenous Cultural Committee, pati na rin sa mga solo parent.
