Manila, Philippines – Isang pagdinig na lang ang gagawin ng Dept. of Justice sa kasong inihain ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) laban sa mga responsable sa P6.4-billion shabu shipment mula China.
Pagkatapos ng huling hearing sa January 4 ng susunod na taon ay isa-submit for resolution na ang nasabing reklamo.
Partikular ang kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 10863 (Customs Modernization and Tariff Act) in relation to Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act).
Kabilang sa respondents sa nasabing kaso sina Philippine Hongfei Logistics Group of Companies Inc. chairman Chen Ju Long, alyas Richard Tan o Richard Chen, sinasabing customs fixer Mark Ruben Taguba II, businessman Kenneth Dong, Eirene May Tatad, may-ari ng EMT Trading at consignee ng drug shipment, Taiwanese nationals Chen Min at Jhu Ming Jyun.
Respondents din sina warehouseman Fidel Anoche Dee, customs broker Teejay Marcellana, at Manny Li.
