Mas mainam na masuportahan ng mga dokumento at sinumpaang salaysay ng mga testigo ang isiniwalat ni Senator Manny Pacquiao na katiwalian sa ilang ahensya ng gobyerno.
Reaksyon ito ni Senator Panfilo Lacson sa sinabi ni Pacquiao na papa-imbestigahan nya sa Senate Blue Ribbon Committee na pinamumunuan ni Senator Richard Gordon ang nabanggit na mga iregularidad sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Health (DOH), Department of Energy (DOE) at iba pang ahensya ng pamahalaan.
Ayon kay Lacson, pwedeng itong imbestigahan ng Blue Ribbon Committee pero mas mainam na nakabase ang imbestigasyon sa mga dokumentong sumusuporta sa alegasyon.
“Without details backed by documents or at least sworn statements executed by his witnesses, if any, there may not be sufficient basis for the Senate to conduct a hearing,” ani Lacson.
Punto ni Lacson, seryoso at sensitibo ang mga ibinunyag ni Pacquiao na korapsyon kaya dapat nya itong suportahan ng katibayan.
“The onus is on Sen. Pacquiao at the very least to show some specifics in support of his allegations, which by its nature are serious, not to mention sensitive,” anang senador.
Mas mainam din sabi ni Lacson kung magsusumite si Pacquiao ng mga mahalagang dokumento ukol dito sa Senate President o sa Blue Ribbon Committee para madetermina nila kung ano ang dapat nilang susunod na habang.
“It can better serve the purpose of the expose if relevant documents that he said he has would be submitted to the Senate President or the Blue Ribbon Committee,” sabi pa ng mambabatas.
