Ipinauubaya na ng Department of Health (DOH) sa mga local government units (LGUs) kung ire-require o hindi ang negative RT-PCR test sa mga inbiduwal na papasok sa kani-kanilang nasasakupan.
Ayon kay Health Secretary Francisco Duque III, ang pinal na kasunduan ay bigyan ng opsyon ang mga LGU sa pagre-require ba nila ang RT-PCR testing.
“They will make their own risk assessment being the local. The IATF is very clear… They can require depending on the option they wish to exercise,” sabi ni Duque.
Para sa mga LGUs na tanging vaccination cards ang ire-require, sinabi ni Duque na ang Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) ay bumubuo na ng digital vaccine certification.
Ang DICT ay nag-commit na mai-encode at maa-upload ang 90-porsyento ng total vaccinated individuals pasapit ng July 31.
