Nagpaalala ang Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) sa mga pasahero, tsuper at konduktor ng Public Utility Vehicles (PUVs) na mandatory na simula ngayong araw, August 15, ang pagsusuot ng face shields at face masks sa mga pampublikong transportasyon.
Batay sa LTFRB Memorandum Circular 2020-033, inaatasan ang PUV driver, conductors at mga pasahero na isuot ang face shields na pinoprotektahan ang buong mukha.
Ang bigong pagsuot ng face mask at face shield ay hindi papasakayin.
Una nang sinabi ni Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade na ang mandatory na pagsusuot ng face shield ay ipapatupad sa lahat ng pampublikong transportasyon, kabilang ang aviation at airports, railways, road, maging sa maritime sector.
